How to Find Outstanding (Unpaid) Orders in the Amazon Payment Report

Shipped but not paid? Here is how to find every outstanding order in the Amazon payment report โ€” with a spreadsheet or automatically.

An outstanding order is an order you shipped that Amazon has not fully paid. Finding them means reconciling payments to outstanding orders โ€” matching the payment report to your order list.

With a spreadsheet

  1. Put all order IDs from the All Orders report in sheet 1.
  2. Put the Date Range payment report in sheet 2.
  3. In sheet 1, use SUMIF on the order ID to total the payment report's total column.
  4. Add a second SUMIFS that only counts rows whose transaction status is deferred.
  5. Filter: total = 0 (no payment), deferred > 0 (held), total < 0 (refunded).

What each result means

ResultMeaning
No payment rowsNot delivered yet, cancelled, or payment missing
Deferred amountHeld until delivery / return period ends
Negative totalRefunded โ€” check whether the return came back

Automatically
